You will counsel people with a focus on prevention., working with individuals and groups to promote optimum mental health. You may help individuals deal with addictions and substance abuse; family, parenting, and marital problems; suicide; stress management; problems with self-esteem; and issues associated with aging and mental and emotional health.
You will counsel and advise individuals with alcohol, tobacco, drug, or other problems, such as gambling and eating disorders. You may counsel individuals, families, or groups or engage in prevention programs.
You will care for mentally impaired or emotionally disturbed individuals, following a physician's instructions and hospital procedures. You will monitor patients' physical and emotional well-being and report to medical staff. You may also participate in rehabilitation and treatment programs, help with personal hygiene, and administer oral medications and hypodermic injections.

Includes technologists who specialize in other modalities, such as computed tomography and magnetic resonance. This includes workers whose primary duties are to demonstrate portions of the human body on X-ray film or fluoroscopic screen.
You will assess patient health problems and needs, develop and implement nursing care plans, and maintain medical records. You will also administer nursing care to ill, injured, or disabled patients. You may advise patients on health maintenance and disease prevention or provide case management.
You will supervise and coordinate the activities of members of the police force.
You will directly supervise sales workers in a retail establishment or department. Your duties may include management functions, such as purchasing, budgeting, accounting, and personnel work, in addition to supervisory duties.
